Health and Safety Gap Analysis
A structured review of your current program against what the OHSA and your sector actually require.
What is a health and safety gap analysis?
A health and safety gap analysis compares an employer’s existing program against the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, its regulations and any sector-specific standards, then reports what is missing and in what order to fix it. It is normally the first step before certification work, and the standard response to a Ministry of Labour order.
What the engagement covers
- Review of existing policies, procedures and records
- Site walkthrough and observation of actual practice
- Written findings ranked by risk and by regulatory exposure
- A remediation plan with owners and timelines
