What counts as a confined space in Ontario?

Is a rescue plan required before entering a confined space?

Yes. Ontario requires an adequate written rescue procedure to be in place, with rescue workers and equipment available, before any worker enters a confined space.

Who needs confined space training?

Everyone involved in the entry, including entrants, attendants stationed outside the space, entry supervisors, and those who prepare the written entry plan.
